Anthony Braxton<\/strong><\/h4>\n

wirtuoz saksofonu altowego, multiinstrumentalista, kompozytor i konceptualista dzia\u0142aj\u0105cy na scenie od ponad czterech dekad, jeden z najbardziej kreatywnych artyst\u00f3w. Jego dyskografia obejmuje ponad 100 album\u00f3w, z czego kilka uznanych zosta\u0142o za kamienie milowe muzyki jazzowej (3 Compositions of New Jazz, Dortmund 1976, Creative Orchestra).<\/h4>\n

W obszarze jego zainteresowa\u0144 znajduje si\u0119 zar\u00f3wno jazz, jak i muzyka wsp\u00f3\u0142czesna, etniczna, swobodna improwizacja. Solowe recitale i koncerty na wielk\u0105 orkiestrow\u0105 obsad\u0119. Uznany za jednego z najwa\u017cniejszych tw\u00f3rc\u00f3w muzyki ameryka\u0144skiej, w 1994 roku zosta\u0142 stypendyst\u0105 MacAthur Fellowship przyznawanego geniuszom.<\/h4>\n

Alexander Hawkins<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Alexander Hawkins is musician who is \u2018unlike anything else in modern creative music\u2019 (Ni Kantu) and whose recent work has reached a \u2018dazzling new apex\u2019 (Downbeat).<\/h4>\n

As a pianist, he has been described as \u2018remarkable…possessing staggering technical ability and a fecund imagination as both player and composer.\u2019 Concerning his organ playing, critic Brian Morton recently commented that \u2018[t]he most interesting Hammond player of the last decade and more, [Hawkins] has already extended what can be done on the instrument.\u2019<\/h4>\n

His writing has been said to represent \u2018a fundamental reassertion of composition within improvised music\u2019 (Point of Departure), and his voice one of the \u2018most vividly distinctive…in modern jazz\u2019 (The Jazzmann).<\/h4>\n

An in-demand collaborator as well as soloist, composer, and bandleader, Hawkins continues to be heard live and on record with vast array of contemporary leaders of all generations, including the likes of Evan Parker, John Surman, Joe McPhee, Mulatu Astatke, Wadada Leo Smith, Anthony Braxton, Marshall Allen, Han Bennink, Hamid Drake, Rob Mazurek, Taylor Ho Bynum, Harris Eisenstadt, Matana Roberts, and Shabaka Hutchings, amongst many others. He has also been noted for a number of years for his performances in the bands of legendary South African drummer, Louis Moholo-Moholo.<\/h4>\n
